About us

The Queens Walk Community Centre was formerly the Central Railway Goods Office, built around 1889. It has played a major part in the Meadows since opening as a community Centre in 1976 providing an important place for local community groups and organisations to support community development.

Meadows advice centre

The Meadows Advice Centre is now open.  Providing our local community with advice on benefits, debt management, budgeting and housing.

Monday to Friday

Walk-in: From 10am to 1pm

Appointment only: From 2pm to 4pm

Discover the perfect venue for your next event at Queens Walk Community Centre. Whether you"re planning a business meeting, workshop, celebration or social gathering, we're here to accommodate. With rooms of capacities ranging from 30 to 250 people, as well as fully equipped kitchen for hire.
